EXTREME Family Fun Festival

Our Extreme Family Fun Festival will feature a wide range of activities provided by our generous vendors—we have something for everyone! From a petting zoo to face painting, everyone can find a way to beat the heat while burning off some energy at the STL Athletic Center.

• Riders are prohibited if they have health problems such as head, neck, back, or limb injuries; a heart condition; or are pregnant.

• Riders must have sufficient limbs to wear a full-body harness

Liability Waiver, Release & Assumption of Risk

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

By purchasing a ticket to the Extreme Family Fun Festival, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that attending and participating in the Extreme Family Fun Festival involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, or other loss. Activities at the event may include, without limitation, games, inflatables, amusement rides, mechanical rides, attractions, interactions with animals, food areas, and participation in crowded public spaces (collectively, the “Activities”).

I understand that these risks may arise from, among other things:

• Slips, trips, falls, or collisions

• Equipment or ride use

• Animal behavior, including bites, scratches, or allergic reactions

• Actions or inactions of other participants or third parties

• Conditions of the premises, weather, or event environment

I voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with attendance at and participation in the event.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to release, waive, and hold harmless:

STL Athletic Center, its owners, officers, managers, employees, agents, volunteers, contractors, vendors, ride operators, animal providers, sponsors, affiliates, and insurers (collectively, the “Released Parties”)

from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, causes of action, or liability of any kind, whether arising from personal injury, illness, death, or property damage, occurring in connection with my attendance at or participation in the Extreme Family Fun Festival.

This release includes claims arising from the ordinary negligence of the Released Parties but does not apply to claims that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Minors

I understand that children under the age of 18 may attend and participate in the event only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By purchasing a ticket, I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of any minor attendees under my direction and that I accept this waiver on their behalf, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Responsibility & Rules

I agree to comply with all posted rules, safety requirements, staff instructions, ride restrictions, and animal-handling guidelines. I understand that failure to follow rules or instructions increases the risk of injury and may result in removal from the event without refund.

Medical Treatment

In the event of injury or illness, I authorize STL Athletic Center and event staff the option to obtain emergency medical treatment or first aid as deemed reasonably necessary, and I agree to be responsible for all associated costs.

No Responsibility for Personal Property

I understand that the Released Parties are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri.

Binding Agreement

By purchasing a ticket to the Extreme Family Fun Festival, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to this waiver and release of liability. My ticket purchase constitutes my voluntary and binding acceptance of these terms.
